Armenia's Central Bank lowers refinancing rate to 8% per annum

YEREVAN. June 11 (Interfax) - The Board of the Central Bank of Armenia decided to reduce the refinancing rate 0.25 percentage points, setting it at 8% per annum, the regulator said in a statement.

A rate of 8.25% per annum has been in effect since May 2, when it was reduced by 0.25 percentage points.

This is the fourth rate cut since the beginning of this year. Last year, the regulator reduced the rate five times.
