Raiffeisenbank to stop making payments in dollars starting June 10
MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax) - Raiffeisenbank will stop making outgoing payments in US dollars starting June 10, the bank said in a statement.
"Outgoing payments in US dollars will be unavailable starting June 10, 2024 due to the changed requirements of correspondent banks that conduct these transfers. Unfortunately, we cannot influence this," Raiffeisenbank said.
Payments in dollars processed and sent before 16:00 Moscow time on June 7 will be carried out subject to previously established restrictions.
There are no restrictions on incoming payments in US dollars. In addition, the restrictions do not apply to payments in other foreign currencies, the bank said.
