MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, upon completion of the latest staff meeting on the situation regarding the domestic market for petroleum products, said that there was no local shortage of petroleum products, though he has instructed to take measures to prevent so-called gray exports, specifically via the Eurasian Economic Union, the government press service said.

The parties during the meeting discussed the current situation on the market for petroleum products, particularly discussing summer demand for fuel, as well as the sowing and harvesting campaign among farmers in the country's various regions.

"Fuel prices in the wholesale and retail segments remain stable, and there is no shortage. Fuel inventories are at a high level, and railway transportation is on schedule. The domestic market is fully supplied with gasoline and diesel fuel," according to the statement.

Novak upon completion of the event instructed taking measures to prevent gray exports of petroleum products, specifically via the EAEU, and maintaining control of the situation regarding the supply of fuel to a number of regions in the country's east, as well as Crimea, particularly timely deliveries by railway in line with the schedule.
