TCG political subgroup has animated talks on amnestying Donbas crisis participants, Steinmeier formula - Sajdik
MINSK. March 13 (Interfax) - Coordinator of the political subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Ukraine Pierre Morel is trying to promote efforts to implement the Steinmeier formula, which concerns the determination of the status of Donbas.
OSCE's TCG Special Envoy Martin Sajdik told reporters in Minsk on Wednesday that two debated documents, which had been drawn up by Morel and are meant for discussing the current status quo on implementing the Steinmeier formula and the amnesty, had been on the agenda of the political working subgroup meeting on Wednesday.
He said that Morel had attended his 106th TCG session on Wednesday. Sajdik noted that Morel had come to his 106th session with new ideas in efforts to promote this work.
The OSCE special envoy said that the political subgroup had held an animated discussion on these two proposals.
