Russian deputy FM, Syrian ambassador discuss implementation of National Dialogue Congress decisions

MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riad Haddad have discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi at the end of January, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

"The parties discussed the situation in Syria, with emphasis on the implementation of the decisions made at the Syrian National Dialogue Congress held in Sochi on January 29-30 to secure the soonest possible settlement of the Syria crisis in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2254," the ministry said in a statement available on its website.
